About
Hi, I’m Rachel, editor and author of fiction.
I started out as a book editor in 2017, quickly going full-time with my freelance business. Since then, my clients have included Big 5 publishers such as Hachette, HarperCollins, and Penguin Random House. I also edit for Writers & Artists, run by Bloomsbury. I’ve worked on around two hundred books to date, including Amazon and New York Times bestsellers.
Alongside full-time editing, I write and independently publish fantasy books, including the Nethervale series of romantic fairytales. Two books are currently released – The Darkest Curse and The Wicked Prince – with a third planned.
On the traditional side, I’m represented by Thérèse Coen at Susanna Lea Associates. I’m fortunate that I get to spend my time not only writing, but helping other authors improve their stories.
I live in North West England with my husband and our cats. When I’m not writing or editing, I’m usually playing video games, watching movies and Kdramas, or drinking too much coffee.
