Grab yourself a pumpkin spice latte and your best cosy sweater to curl up with this charming, romantic read that will leave a paw print on your heart…

Brenna has moved to the countryside looking for peace and quiet with her many black cats. But Brenna is keeping a secret she can’t share with anyone…

Matt, the cheerful barista behind the counter at Catpurrcino, runs a monthly book club for locals to bring people (and cats) together.

When Matt and Brenna both reach for the same book at the library he invites her to come to the next meeting.

Brenna is wary of letting anyone new into her life, but she can’t say no to her two favourite things combined – cats and books – or Matt’s gorgeous smile.

Just as Brenna starts to think she has finally found a haven in the warmth and friendship of the book club they are rocked by terrible news: a big developer is threatening the future of not only the café, but the whole town.

Brenna and Matt vow to do all they can to save it. As they battle against the odds, Brenna begins to let the town, and Matt, into her heart.

Has Brenna finally found a place to call home? And what will happen when her past finally catches up to her?

Love a peaceful day browsing books and grabbing co Love a peaceful day browsing books and grabbing coffee, so I decided to vlog it because I love watching cosy little reels and wanted to make one! ☕️📖 I picked up The Dark Mirror by Samantha Shannon (The Bone Season series is one of my absolute favourites!) and Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid.

Have you all been reading anything good this weekend? 💕📖
Spilling the tea on getting published and what mig Spilling the tea on getting published and what might happen next… ☕ I don't think we writers talk about these things enough, especially the first one, which was a big shock to me after I got published!

The positive part is, you learn to deal with these swings and roundabouts over time. And you become a stronger person – and writer – because of it. ❤️

Sooo… in massively exciting news, I bought a house Sooo… in massively exciting news, I bought a house for me and my husband – and it was only made possible because of my books. Every failed manuscript, every year of rejection, all the drafts, the millions of words, and the cat café stories that finally got noticed by publishers around the world… This is what it all turned into. I'm so, so grateful. And a little stunned this even happened. Looking forward to making many memories here – and writing and editing books from my new office! 🏡
I went to IKEA recently, and someone had placed th I went to IKEA recently, and someone had placed this little stuffed cat inside a basket-house. Not sure if the basket is actually meant to be a house or just an oddly shaped decoration, but it's the perfect shape to house a stuffed animal, and it made me smile. 🐱

The wider world feels very heavy right now (an understatement if ever there was one), but small moments of human fun, creativity, and whimsy like this one make me smile. Hope you've all been managing to find small moments of joy if you can. 🤍

Now I'm off back to my editing cave where I'll be working on some excellent client books. 📝
