I regularly provide editorial services for fiction publishers (both series and standalone titles) and can work to your house style, as well as applying Oxford (New Hart’s Rules) or The Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS). I edit in both UK and US English.
I’m an advanced professional member of the CIEP, and I’ve completed accredited training.
I accept most genres of commercial fiction including fantasy, sci-fi, romance, YA, contemporary fiction, thrillers/mysteries, and some historical fiction. I am not the best fit for horror, picture books, or graphic novels/comics.

I can copyedit lightly or heavily using Track Changes, depending on the manuscript’s needs, as well as building a style sheet.
proofreading
I carry out close proofreads on PDF proofs/galleys, or in Microsoft Word, depending on your requirements.
reader reports
Reader reports can be provided to your specifications and length, focusing on big-picture editorial feedback.
My editorial services also extend to working on manuscripts intended for audio (I have edited a number of Audible Originals), and I can offer other bespoke services such as cold reading and anglicisation.
